add boiling water to porridge, some sugar, butter, linseed oil/fish oil. when it become not hot, add proteins (http://www.iherb.com/proteins?rcode=SRW802). quite tasty and nourishing, also easy digestable.
if it is possible, eat proteins separately, some time after porridge, when you start feel light hunger. it is more effective for digesting. in this case you may add little salt into porridge instead of sugar, and add sugar to proteins.
if it is less possibility to make porridge, use hardtack (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hardtack) instead with protein drink. if it is possible, use hardtack with butter and honey. you may prepare such a snack in advance. another recipe (almost protein bars) is to melt butter and honey/sugar, add linseed oil/fish oil, and mix it with dry porridge (or porridge mixed with proteins).
it is wisdom to use such a meal at the end of work before going to home, to avoid becoming too tired/hangry when arriving at home.
